On November 29th, 2011 IBM announced a new pricing model for the MidVision Extensions to the IBM Rational Automation Framework introducing a major simplification and bringing the pricing model in line with the Rational Automation Framework:
- Pricing is now per PVU based – the customer buys as much as they need
- There is one part code – the customer does not need to specify for which platform they are buying
- New System z part codes
