This US based financial services organization identified a need for an application release automation tool due to a rapidly increasing workload on their JBoss administrators as the business demanded additional services. Particular pain points were around patch management, installations and no ability to snapshot and compare environments for issue resolution.
IBM and MidVision demonstrated the Rational Automation Framework and MidVision Extensions with IBM onsite with the customer and MidVision dialling in remotely through LotusLive from the UK. The demonstration was sufficient for the customer to authorize the purchase without need for a proof of concept.
