A leading US health insurance provider had a portion of their management and configuration automated through homegrown scripts which were proving to be difficult to maintain and difficult to expand into new use cases. They were taking on more and more applications and finding keeping environments consistent was becoming a challenge.
They looked at a number of vendors including IBM, CA, Cruise Control, UrbanCode (Anthill Pro) but none of these other vendors offered out of the box middleware automation to the degree IBM and Midvision had together.
They provided IBM with detailed requirements and use cases and engaged in an onsite Proof of Concept for the core RAF capabilities which MidVision supported remotely from the MQ/WMB perspective. They acquired 1 unit of MidVision’s Extension to RAF for WebSphere Connectivity for IBM WebSphere MQ and Message Broker running on AIX, Solaris and Red Hat Linux.
