Overview
The Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server Plugins for RapidDeploy allow you to create, configure and manageOracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server instances. There are different plugins are each version of Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server .
Install:
By using the RapidDeploy Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server plugins you can install Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server binaries using the tasks supplied with these plugins.
Configure:
The Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server plugins allow you configure the Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server installation, tailoring the installation to your requirements. Templates are provided that can simplify getting started with Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server configuration.
All settings you can edit in the Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server console can be configured using the RapidDeploy Plugins, from security settings to clusters, database and many other resources.
Deploy:
These plugins allows you to deploy your compiled code (War or Ear files) to your Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server installations and configure application specific settings.
Snapshot:
Use these plugins to snapshot Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server installations so that you can compare snapshots over time to identify changes and configuration drift.
Download
By default a new instance of RapidDeploy comes with the Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server installed. If you have a direct internet connection and need to update the plugins for any reason the easiest way to do this is via the Plugin Manager when you are logged into RapidDeploy.
Log in to RapidDeploy and go to:
System -> Plugin Manager -> Available Plugins Tab
If your RapidDeploy instance does not have an internet connection you can download the required Oracle Fusion Middleware (WebLogic) Application Server plugin here
Resources
These plugins are shippedf with the RapidDeploy installation by default. A complete set of tasks and actions for the plugins is available within RapidDeploy when the plugins are installed using the Plugin Manager. The task help is contextual and provides information on the values and attributes required to configure these plugins.
